FONT CREATION PROCESS...
While tasked with the goal of creating a post to advertise MOOYAH's National French Fry Day promotion, I knew I wanted to do something fun. After scanning the internet for some type of fun font or images to use, it hit me. I would make my own using MOOYAH's very own fries.
STEP ONE
Obtain the french fries. In order to establish authenticity, I drove to my local MOOYAH and order a side or fries to use for this post.
STEP TWO
Arrange the french fries. I knew I wanted to spell out the letters but I had to make sure each fry was perfectly selected for its corresponding letter and that they were all laid out properly. I prepared the counter with plastic wrap for grease purposes.
STEP THREE
Upload image into photoshop. After perfectly arranging letters, the next step was to digitize them. I uploaded the letters into photoshop where I removed the background, adjusted the lighting, and cleaned them up.
STEP FOUR
Create the rest of the letters and reorder them. While I was creating this post I thought, why not make this usable for future purposes? I then edited each letter to make sure they were all accounted for.
STEP FIVE
Set up the post. I uploaded the images, added the ketchup letters, which followed a very similar process, added a background, shading and some more text and it was Insta ready!
